Zone Control features
Public IP's Zone Control provides an easy way to configure and manage your hotspots. This page contains a few samples of different interfaces and configuration screens. The data contained in the displays isn't perfect but you should get an idea of the type of system you will have access to once you select a service and order a subscription.
     
Common Interfaces  
Zone Details: Displays Public IP server info, gateway status, active sessions, and queue. Overview also available. Master Overview: Displays Online/Offline status for all your gateways and public ip servers. Master Detail view also available. Configuration overview: Displays all your zone's configuration details on one page.
     

Normal User Registration: Add users from within zone control or adjust a user's limits or user class. Zone Account: Create the login for your zoneCD and download or regenerate your encryption key. Custom Emails: Customize the emails the server sends to your users.
     
 
Availability Hours: Define when your network is available - each hour of each day. Display All Users: Get an overview of your users from this page.  
     
Ticket Generator/User Registration: Generate up to 50 usernames with a single click.
Ticket List: Select the usernames to generate tickets. Tickets: Print this page and cut out the tickets for distribution to your visitors.
     
Network Options: Configure network settings. Templates: Select a template style or "skin" for your login and registration pages. User Access: Configure how the control server handles user access.
     
Reports  
Content Filter Report: Generate a report that displays why and when a user's request was blocked by the content filter. Usage Report: This report will display details about how the user's connection length and transfer. The top users' totals are displayed with bar graphs. Usage Report: You can group together usage data by username or mac address. Use the drop list to filter the results.
     

 
Limit/Block Reports: Probably the most useful of all reports. This report will display up to 12 different reasons for a user being blocked. Report Interface: Select a simple date or a date range. Add filter options, select the format, and group your results.  
     
On Spot Support  
Operator Chat: Manage multiple chat sessions with color coded screens and an active session menu. Push urls, and messages to your users. Canned Messages: Store canned messages to speed your support requests. Any common questions or answers can be pre-written and sent to users as needed by selecting the message from a drop list
   
Add Operators: You can have up to five operators per zone. Push URLs: Add any common urls you would find helpful to push to users. Maybe a FAQ, or even better daily specials.
